Conformance levels
- Supports: The product's functionality has at least one method that meets the
criterion without known defects or with equivalent facilitation.
- Partially Supports: Some functionality of the product does not meet the criterion.
- Does Not Support: The majority of product functionality does not meet the
criterion.
- Not Applicable: The criterion is not relevant to the product.
It is preferable that vendors use an independent accessibility professional to create their ACR, rather than producing it in-house.
Maturity Models
Policy Driven Adoption for Accessibility (PDAA) (link)
An initiative by the National Association of Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) that helps procurement organizations choose vendors who can meet accessibility requirements.
